Introduction

CSS has officially embraced a new signature color, and the excitement is real! This update celebrates community involvement, honors a meaningful legacy, and sets the stage for the future of CSS branding.

Rebeccapurple Takes the Spotlight!

The wait is over! With a resounding 400 votes, rebeccapurple has been crowned the official logo color for CSS. This milestone reflects the collective input, ideas, and enthusiasm of the CSS community.

The choice of rebeccapurple is more than a striking color—it’s a heartfelt tribute to Rebecca Meyer, daughter of web standards advocate Eric Meyer. Her memory continues to shine as rebeccapurple has been an official CSS color since 2014.
